As a teenager, Sarah experienced a family crisis that created financial security challenges.  Sarah says ”the lessons learned have shaped my life, my career and fostered a commitment to give back to programs that benefit the economic health of families. I believe that everyone needs access to up to date, easy to understand financial information to help them make informed decisions on how they use, grow, protect and transfer their money”.

Sarah joined the Danforth Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2005 but her professional journey in financial services started in 1986 at Nissho Iwai UK Ltd in London.  She has also held positions in UNUM's Retirement Security Division, Prudential Securities and Smith Barney.

Sarah obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional certification in 2006 and believes that a rigorously monitored investment plan can help clients withstand a financial hardship and tough investment markets. Sarah says “in a lifetime plan, one size does NOT fit all. For many clients a starting place is determining “how much do I need, to live the life, that I want to live” followed by “how comfortable am I with risk”.  Sarah serves as the CFP® Board Ambassador for Maine, where she is able to use her experience as a CFP® professional to help her community, providing information and insights on how investment planning can improve people's lives.

Sarah is an accomplished educator and frequent speaker.  She delivers workshop topics ranging from “how to be the sole financial decision maker” and “redefining your retirement” to “estate planning strategies” and “investment allocation strategies.”  Sarah is a regular face and financial contributor on WCSH 6 Morning Report.

“With both of my children now fully into young adulthood, my husband and I have embraced the hobby of triathlon.”  In 2013, Sarah completed her first marathon in her hometown of London. She has gone on to complete Ironman competitions in 2014 and 2016.  “Goals really are just dreams with deadlines”.
